Alice Springs Steiner School
Alice Springs, 2010
Stephen Lumb Architect has ongoing involvement in the masterplanning and design of the Steiner School in Alice Springs. The master plan concept is based on paired classrooms in a serpentine, linear arrangement linked by a verandah, circulation space with a breezeway / outdoor learning area linking each pair of classrooms. The latest project completed in 2010 includes a new classroom and new library. Previous buildings include the Flexible Learning Area Building (FLA) and the year 5 and year 6 classrooms.
