Ark 8 Architects is a progressive Melbourne-based design studio dedicated to critical thinking and creative action in the built environment. All we produce – from homes to multi-residential and commercial projects to masterplans, are characterised by legibility. We aim to deliver projects which are a collaborative aggregation of opportunities and constraints, ideas and parameters – founded upon the requirements of the client.

A triple townhouse development on an extremely tight 172sqm site provided a platform to explore high-density and high-quality living typologies in an increasingly gentrified pocket of Richmond. This project harnesses the tactility of contextual materiality and the intricate motifs of yesteryear.
