Cultural response to Sulman’s first Garden Suburb precinct. Japanese inspiration for Californian Bungalow respectfully interpreted as Sydney beach house. Massive spine wall and orientation means airconditioning not required over last 6 years. 5* NATHERS rating. Sandstone, recycled ironwood and raw cedar inside and out. Steel finished in micascious oxide (harbour bridge paint). House is environmentally zoned for sleep, living, guests and office.
