Projects:
Kangaroo Point Dual Occupancy
Sylvania NSW, 2012
This project appears to be a stand alone residence but is in fact one half of a dual occupancy built on the upper section of a very steep sloping site in Kangaroo Point. The existing house was developed many years ago along the waterfront, complete with a boat house. The new residence stands well above the existing house and has beautiful views over the riverside house to the Georges River as the new house cascades down the site with 7 different mini levels, giving each level superb views of the river. The floor plan takes its form from the varying widths of each part of the site as dictated by the winding entry driveway on the west side of the site, thus creating the pleasing form of the building.
De La Salle College
Revesby NSW, 2010
De La Salle College at Revesby is one of several schools that has maintained a steady relationship with our office over the years. It started with the renovation of 2 science labs and continued with a redesign of the Master Plan of the school, the reorientation of the school entry and security, the renovations of all the existing classrooms, the existing hall, new library and science classrooms, a new administration building and extension to the administration building several years later. We also developed a commercial style teaching kitchen, a new canteen, new playing fields and car parks.
St John Bosco College
Engadine NSW, 2009
St. John Bosco College at Engadine was another project with a long association with our firm. We started out with small renovation projects and then worked on the new administration building and library. Additional projects included a tiered classroom and theatre space, a music room and practice spaces, amendments and alterations to several existing technical buildings, new computer labs, science labs and a new tennis facility and permanent demountable style classroom spaces. We also were involved in a commercial kitchen teaching space connected with the existing hall. In all, we worked on the site for over 8 years, upgrading existing spaces and creating new educational facilities for the school.
