Gomango Architects
Since 1994, Gomango Architects has designed many award winners. We are a collective of registered architects, under direction of Liza Neil, who are called on to assist in the production of buildings of various scales. The name is a nonsense that is meant to evoke an idea of architecture, belonging to a lifestyle for sub-tropical Queensland. We continue the passionate pursuit of design for sustainable sub-tropical living, whilst getting to the surf, raising dogs, and growing fruit and children. We are are involved members of organisations including the RAIA, Green Building Council of Australia, Cleantech Industries, AGDF and community climate and environment groups.

Latronics Manufacturing Facility
Moffat Beach, Caloundra, 2011
We love all of our past work! Many have won Awards and we are grateful! They are like surrogate babies we set free into the Universe, trusting that they will be loved and protected! Our next project is always our best as we continue to learn, grow and get better at creating amazing buildings! The Latronics Manufacturing Facility will be an exception! It is already an outstanding project for it’s ambitious green credentials, and it hasn’t even been built yet! Designed to rehabilitate a dilapidated old contaminated site. The new building will rise up to be a proud and very different take on what an industrial building should be! With a 600 solar panel solar pergola, 3 green roofs, green walls, and endless other amazing sustainable features it will set a new standard on Industrial Heart and Soul design! Watch this space in 2011!
