Cockburn Youth Centre
Success, City of Cockburn, 2009
Holton Connor was responsible for the design of the City of Cockburn’s $7million Youth Centre. The Wentworth Parade location is a high profile site in Success, being adjacent to the Gateway Shopping Centre. The complex is a modern, functional and efficient complex designed to be a free form and colourful multi-use youth facility. In addition to a youth performance and multi-use area, ‘jam room’ and recording centre there are a number of training and activity areas, coffee shop and other commercial leased areas and an upper office floor area for various youth counselling and administrative functions.
City of Bayswater Administration Centre

Holton Connor was engaged to redevelop the City of Bayswater’s administration centre. The $8m project involved the master planning and provision of a further 2,000m2 of office and council facilities, complete with the redevelopment of the existing office area and fitout of all the office areas and a secure undercroft carpark. The process involved extensive liaison with the Council’s senior staff to ensure an effective and efficient relationship occured between all the various departments. A staged construction programme ensured continuous operation of the organisation was maintained.

The site location is a high profile site in the heart of the town, being adjacent to the Shire Administration Centre and has become the focal point of the region.
