The Terraces
North St, Midland, 2010
Six small terraces built c1896 for Railway-workers on the recently opened Midlands Railway were restored and extended one pair, providing new light and airy Living rooms and service rooms to the rear, with large timber decks. North aspect was maximised, with generous through ventilation and highlights. Rear parking and access was provided and the garages have Studios above which can be incorporated with the house, or sub-let as self-contained.
Apartments
123 Summers St, Perth, 2010
Rear site with shared access and City Views from First Floors. We submitted a two storey design, with one apartment per floor, and the planners advised that we should increase the density, so we redesigned it in three stories. The project has not proceeded and the site was sold with a DA in place.
