Projects:
Eureka Tower
Southbank, 2006
The highly sculptural Eureka Tower is reputed to be the tallest residential building in the world. Apartment sales greatly exceeded initial expectations, and the building attracted purchasers from all over Australia as well as elsewhere in the region. Located across the Yarra River from the central business district of Melbourne, the development provides a range of high-end apartments, public observation and experiential centre and specialist office accommodation in the ninety sto-rey building. The tower itself forms part of a city-block sized podium, incorporating a hotel, retail, hospitality facilities and commercial carparking.
NewActon East
Canberra, 2008
New Acton is a mixed use development, comprising residential, commercial, retail and hotel on a heritage site in Canberra. The project is characterised by bold design in a highly sensitive area and by its art-integration program.
Edgewater Apartments
Geelong, 2010
The Edgewater project comprises a seven level building which consists of 32 luxury apartments and 10 retail tenancies at ground level. The site is located on the waterfront of Geelong, a major regional city an hours travel outside of Melbourne. The design of the building responds successfully to tight planning constraints and manages to maintain view corridors for existing neighbours. The sculptured towered element references the maritime nature of the locale, as does the rich palette of materials, which includes hardwood timbers, copper, stone and integrally coloured concrete.
