New residence in a steep, narrow and difficult river site, with bushfire constraints and the necessity of accessible design for the owners. A house with lift and no steps that provides a full enjoyment of the natural environment all around. Full brick house with steel structure, metal roof and fire fighting services. Energy efficient design within ESD principles.
Acreage Living
Glenhaven NSW, 2006
Full renovation of existing country house within a 2,000 ha orchard site. Rendered brick veneer construction with slate roof for granparents and family accomodation. Assisting the owners to unravel a mostly hidden brief was the distinctive feature and challenge of this project.
Connaught Place – Fine Indian Cuisine
Parramatta NSW, 2009
Heritage building restoration and fitout for use as a fine Indian cuisine restaurant. Preservation of main heritage features and construction of additional areas to provide modern facilities including commercial kitchen and amenities. Accessible premises designed to stand out within the Indian precinct around.
