Igras House
Chuwar, 2009
A new home for a retired couple on a vacant site high above the Brisbane River. A long thin plan arrangement maximising the northerly aspect to capture the breezes and views of Brisbane River and pastures beyond. Accessability design requirements have been catered for to allow the owners to live in the home for many years to come, possibly even with a carer in the future. These include features such flush finish floors and door openings, larger doors and wider hallways to allow easy future wheelchair access, and bathrooms suitable for the handicapped.
Kelly House
Oceanview, 2005

A large river front family home with multiple internal and external recreation spaces to cater for all seasons, age and social groups. Indoor and outdoor fireplaces cater for all tastes and occasions. An internal courtyard provides shelter from the westerlies and allows the warm winter sun to penetrate the home.
