McNeil Architects is the new name for the Architectural practice that was established in Port Macquarie in 1978. The practice has developed an enviable reputation over the years with concentration on Schools, Aged Care (Self Care Units, Hostels and Nursing Homes), Multi-Residential (low density and high rise), Commercial facilities and Office fit-outs. We pride ourselves on taking projects from conception through design development, documentation, tendering and Contract Administration. Work has extended from Sydney to the Queensland border and the northern tablelands.

Senior Secondary School completed under a special Federal Government Program that saw the $7million project completed from sketch design to Practical Completion in under 10 months. This was achieved using a normal tendering process and a standard lump sum contract.
Watermark Apartments

This is an 8 storey building of 8 residential units. It was designed to fit a small residential site that was sandwiched between 2 other 8 storey buildings on the coast. Within a tight budget, an high standard of construction and finish was achieved, with a building that provides an impressive presentation in the streetscape with a standard of amenity well beyond the norm for unit living.
Lymina Commercial Development

A 2 storey commercial development with basement car parking designed to fit from boundary to boundary in a commercial precinct. Maximisation of glazing to north and south offices has achieved a quality of light not regularly seen in rental office accommodation. The project was completed within a tight budget and achieved full occupancy within weeks of completion.
