Welsh + Major was established as a fulltime entity in 2004. Since then the practice has been involved in a wide variety of innovative projects, with the practice being recognised with various awards in that time. The Partners, David Welsh and Christine Major, have considerable experience in a range of architectural projects spanning residential, educational, large commercial and public buildings. They are also actively involved in architectural education, having both taught at the University of Technology, Sydney. Chris was also an associate lecturer at the University of Newcastle.
