GP Architects
GP architects is a small but energetic practice based in South Australia’s Clare Valley. Personnel are Greg Pulford, architect and managing director; Kristina Soggee, graduate architect; and Valerie Norton, office assistant. The practice operates mainly within the Mid North of SA but has also been involved in projects on Yorke Peninsula, Adelaide and Kangaroo Island. The practice has been established since 1990, and has built up a substantial folio of work in the residential, commercial and municipal categories. Clare Valley Regional Visitor Information Centre
Clare, 2006
The building was constructed at the southern approach to Clare on a tree studded site adjacent to the Clare Caravan Park. Materials used in the building included rammed earth as a spine wall, and framed walls clad with galvanised corrugated steel and plywood. Internal spaces included the main visitor information space, offices and public toilets.

South Skilly Hills via Auburn SA, 2008
The house was sited on a south-facing hill, and cut into the side of the slope, so as to provide for a lower level for garaging, cellar and rainwater tank storage, and an upper level for main living areas, which could connect with ground level on the north side of the house. The upper level comprised open plan living dining and kitchen area, and two bedrooms, the main bedroom having an adjacent small sitting area with wood fired oven to allow efficient heating of just a small part of the house, when the two owners were by themselves. A feature of the site was the view to south and west and this influenced the position of outdoor entertaining areas, as well as size and shape of window elements on the western end of the building. Materials used externally included concrete masonry with rendered and painted finish, corrugated galvanised steel, and plywood.
House additions
College Park , 2014
Angled contemporary lighweight addition onto the rear of existing masonry duplex townhouses which hade been previously converted into one dwelling. Site constraints and west facing outlook to the rear of the site led to the decision to twist the floor plan so that it faced south west for better sun control and also a more functional internal layout.
