Buzacott Architects is a Sydney based architecture, urban and interior design practice with sixteen years experience in a wide range of projects. Our current projects include government, institutional, commercial, multi-dwelling, single residential, interior and urban design projects in Sydney and regional NSW. Stephen Buzacott has over 30 years experience in large and small practice and projects. QA registered and pre-qualified for government projects we were shortlisted in the 2010 AIA NSW awards for interior design. Recent projects include a 108 flat development, the NPWS shelter program and a variety of single housing.

Horizon Apartment
Darlinghurst NSW, 2009
A double apartment on the upper floors of Harry Seidler’s Horizon apartment building posed a design challenge on how to divide up an essentially curved space into attractive living spaces and not unsettling wedges. The apartment had been joined together previoulsy with boxy, awkward wedged shaped spaces. Logan Wines Cellar Door Outlet
Apple Tree Flat, Mudgee NSW, 2007
Built on a hillside site overlooking the Cudgegong River valley and the Logan vineyards, this project is designed both as a cellar door outlet for Logan Wines and a function centre for the promotion of their wines. The site is a low spur from the high western hills above and set back from the Castlereagh Highway. A drive circles around the building to a car park at the rear. Bellevue Hill House
Bulkara Road, Bellevue Hill NSW, 2005
Built on an exposed and elevated site in Bellevue Hill, this house was designed for a Sydney lifestyle oriented to the outdoors and city views. The brief was for a one level house with the view to be enjoyed from the whole site. The bedroom wing was located along the northern edge and the living spaces along the sunnier southern edge of the site with an open dinning room/central hall connecting the wings to form an H plan with formal and informal courtyards.
