New Home

Bellevue Hill, 2003

This family home is located on a modest site, compromised by significant overshadowing from the north, but offering good views to the rear (west). The design draws light and ventilation from the east and west, controlled by generous roof overhangs and adjustable louvres on multiple levels. This home is well zoned with a good flow between various living areas as well as to the terraces and views.

Town houses

Mitchell Rd, Alexandria, 2004

This speculative development sites two, 3 bedroom town house on a site where previously there was little more than one terrace house. The design turns its back to a noisy bus stop at the front while opening to a pocket park to the north east side. Both dwellings enjoy lots of light and ventilation while maintaining privacy from each other and the adjoining public spaces. Materials were chosen to be durable, low maintenance and good value on a tight budget. The owner as well as successive tenants have express their delight.
