Byron Bay Beach House

Byron Bay NSW, 2014

4 Bedroom Residence and 2 Bedroom Guest Studio in Byron Bay, NSW. This Project features numerous environmental strategies and uses a range of natural eco-friendly materials whilst still creating clean modern internal spaces. The spaces are designed to connect and flow to the main courtyard space and pool area. The is area is defined by the shape of the plan of the house and the outdoor spaces are considered similar to the inter spaces as a series of “linked” rooms. Locally sourced natural materials feature prominently in the design, the end result being a modern, beach house that responds to the local climate and is comfortable all year round.

Byron Bay House 1

Byron Bay NSW, 2010

A recently completed house in the hinterland near Byron Bay NSW. This house in Mullumbimby NSW has been designed to take in the north aspect and views on offer on the site. The existing “1940’s Weathboard House” has been extensively re-modelled and expanded, however it was imperative that any new work was sympathetic to the old house and did not appear like a “modern add-on”. The result is a house fir for modern living that still retains much of the character of the original home.
