Mandurah Quay Luxury Residential
This 15,000 sqm site is zoned ‘Tourism’ with expansive estuary and river views. By strategic negotiation with the Council and DPI Authorities, Doepel Marsh Architects were able to maximise the commercial viability of this site by changing Stage One of the development into ‘permanent stay’to underpin the residual part of the project. This is a development of 36 luxury apartments over three levels with each apartment afforded magnificent water views. A tight requirements was to design the development within a mature grove of tuart and jarrah trees. The project provides extensive lifestyle facilities internally and recreational facilities externally. Future stages of the development are a luxury hotel, retail, offices and retirement village.
Premium Office Building
Walters Drive, Herdsman, 2008
First ABGR 4.5 star Office Building outside the CBD! Doepel Marsh Architects were commissioned as Architects for this premium 4500m2 office building which has set new standards for Commercial Developments in the Herdsman Business Park area. This 4 storey building has been designed in an endeavour to achieve an Australian Building Greenhouse Rating of 4.5 stars. It is one of the first buildings of its type in Western Australia to achieve a rating above 4 stars. The Client, Project Manager and Doepel Marsh Architects worked collaboratively to produce a high quality building on a speculative basis – now fully tenanted. Located in the Herdsman Business Park area it is complemented with a selection of high quality finishes externally and internally. Comprehensive documentation provided a close tender result with the winning tenser coming under budget in a very overheated market.
Indian Ocean Suites
Port Hedlands, 2013
Doepel Marsh were Architects and Interior Designers on a mixed use development completed in Pretty Pool, Port Hedland, consisting of 73 apartments, 3 commercial tenancies and communal gym, BBQ and pool areas. Buildings sit within a landscaped podium deck with a basement car park for 107 car bays. Designed to capture cooling breezes and stunning coastal views, each apartment has large outdoor living/ balcony areas and open plan indoor living. The building construction uses a mixed palette of materials including pre-cast concrete, steel cladding, feature timber screens and cyclone resistant glazing offering a low maintenance solution to the harsh environment.
