Wollongong Hospital ED/PECC
Wollongong, NSW, 2010
Gran Associates, along with Leighton Irwin Architects, were responsible for the extension of the existing Emergency Department as well as the provision of the new Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre. This major project, located centrally in a busy regional hospital, was completed in just over a year with minimal disruption to the operation of the hospital.

Gran Associates has has provided design and documenatation expertise for the construction of new teaching and laboratory facilities in existing heritage listed buildings at the former Naval Mining and Diving station at Chowder Bay. The work has been principally concentrated in Building 11 and its Annexe – former Mine Maintenance storage and workshop facilities. SIMS is jointly funded by UNSW, University of Sydney and Macquarie University and seeks to attract overseas researchers as well to study marine life in Sydney Harbour and temperate waters generally.
Wollongong TAFE Restaurant and Bar Renovations

The Catering and Hospitality faculty uses the restaurant and bar for teaching and commercial purposes. The project involved the renovation of the existing restaurant and bar area as well as the provision of a new mini-kitchen and servery. The finishes and materials were selected to complement existing construction and materials and to provide a contemporary image for the facility.
