Paradise House
Mornington Peninsula VIC Australia, 2011
The Paradise House brief was to design a 4 bedroom beach house that captures the ocean views and ensures privacy for both the bedrooms and pool area. There was an emphasis on thermal comfort and the reduction of adjacent traffic noise. The brief focused on the building’s longevity and minimal maintenance through material selection. The design also needed to be sensitive to the existing coastal landscape and allow for the site’s extreme bush fire conditions.
