Minifie
Anglesea, 2011
Set amongst indigenous Moonah trees by the Anglesea River, Minifie gracefully portrays a message of integrity: Subtle angles, natural materials and beautiful textures. These include native hardwood cladding, recycled timber, red baltic battens, sandstone blocks and exposed steelwork. Interesting spaces are created as the smooth feature wall dissects the house at a gentle angle, sinking toward the front. A 7m high recycled silvertop ash post sides the double storey height mezzanine space and penetrates the roof above. Minifie residence in Anglesea has won the 2011 National Master Builders Best Custom House (up to $500,000). Builder: CJ Henderson
Swan St Vet
Richmond, 2011
This state of the art veterinary clinic was completed in Richmond 2011, constructed from an existing warehouse space. Consisting of multiple consult rooms, operating theatre, day spa, cat boarding, puppy schools and more, this groovy animal wellness centre has been adorned with playful finishes. www.swanstreetvet.com.au
Cassidy
Kennett River, 2014
Cassidy was a comprehensive renovation to a quaint 1970’s beach house. Located along the Great Ocean Road this tasteful improvement has been enhanced through clever use of native hardwood timbers and modest finishes. Respecting the original beach house character was a key pursuit. Whale watching and friendly koala residents add to the wilderness experience.
