Addition
South Hobart, 2015
This contemporary addition replaces an earlier rear extension to a 1920s home. The steel, glass and timber contrasts with the brick of the original house. A mezzanine bedroom sits over a double height living room with views to the garden and Mt Wellington. Extensive double glazing, insulated concrete floor and Tasmania hardwoods, with dynamic internal volumes create an inspiring family home.

Nelson
Mt Nelson, 2015
This addition carefully explores the nature of a growing family and creates a range of indoor and outdoor spaces to promote a harmonious, inspiring family life. A new home office and meeting area are located near a new defined entry, a new rumpus room and bathroom meet the garden via a sheltered deck. The new roof is articulated to link with the existing gable roof while responding to the angular plan.
