In 1994 on arrival in Wagga Wagga the practice of Noel Thomson Architecture Pty Ltd was established, with the practice mainly dealing in institutional and commercial projects. Noel is experienced in large and small scale projects, management and liaison with clients, the co-ordination of project teams including consultants and builders from the feasibility, briefing, master planning, schematic design, documentation and site administration stages, until project completion.

Wagga Wagga Airport Terminal Upgrade

The Wagga Wagga Airport Terminal was constructed in 1985 and with the increase in passenger numbers the terminal was in need of expansion at ‘back of house’ and lounge areas. In 2008, Noel Thomson Architecture was contracted to provide design, documentation and administration services for this important upgrade. NTA worked with ALL stakeholders in ensuring that the terminal remained in operation during the internal and external upgrade works. The project was successfully completed in July 2012.
Civic Theatre Refurbishment

The Civic Theatre was constructed in 1964 and by 1999 was ‘showing its age’. Noel Thomson Architecture was contracted to provide design, documentation and administration services for this important upgrade and refurbishment of Wagga Wagga’s main cultural venue.
Wagga Waga Crematorium Upgrade

The Crematorium Chapel upgrade has provided the Client with internal enlargement, refurbishment and modernising of the existing chapel and externally replacing the shelter at the entry. We aimed to create an environment which was contemporary yet non-denominational for those celebrating the life of loved ones recently departed. The renovations were completed in 2011.
