Bungalow Extension

Bardon, 2008

The brief for this already elegant turn-of-the-century home was to create a meticulous and sympathetic extension of lavish proportion that would see stunning period features combined with all the practicalities necessary for relaxed day-to-day living. Along with adding a new wing, building in downstairs and creating a fabulous poolside entertainment area, parquetry floors in a design unique to the residence were hand laid, custom-built, hand-crafted cabinetry was installed in the bathroom and a coffered ceiling of epic detail and proportion was created in the main living area. Once completed, this stately, bespoke residence was able to proudly re-confirm its place as one of the finest examples of heritage architecture in suburban Brisbane.

Yeronga, 2009

Winner of HIAs Australian Home of the Year, this exceptional riverfront offering triumphed through its daring, almost audacious presence and masterful command of design aesthetics. Contemporary architecture at its very finest, the utterly breathtaking residence combined soaring walls of glass, truly majestic proportions and the use of water as an intrinsic design element to complement and enhance the connection to the river with water channelled throughout the home into the elevated glass-sided spa and onto the sinuous river beyond. The high-concept design meanwhile, delivered the ultimate in entertaining and absolutely the last word in prestigious riverfront living.

Fig Tree Pocket, 2008

Designed as much a tangible art form as luxurious family home, this is a residence where design meets meticulous craftsmanship, where boundaries are continuously tested, but never overstepped, where new innovations are embraced with fearless abandon and yet are implemented with a restrained hand. Even from the entry this is apparent, where the line between home and river is beguilingly blurred thanks to the integral use of water, which flows from a reflection pond at the home
