Rathdowne Street

North Carlton, 2010

The existing two front rooms were retained and refitted as bedrooms and the remaining single storey was demolished due to its poor condition. The contemporary addition at the rear of the property accomodates a combined laundry & bathroom along with open plan kitchen, dining and living which open onto an external deck with storage cupboards.

Lambert Road

Toorak, 2009

A new open plan Living, Dining and Kitchen space spanning the rear of the existing house opens onto a new expansive deck which floats out over the existing pool edge. The deck links the living space with the garden and pool area. The first floor extension accommodates the children’s bedrooms and a retreat space. The partial cantilever helps to support a pergola structure over the deck and in time will support plants that will provide shading to expansive north facing glass.

Kent Avenue

Brighton, 2010

Existing living spaces were moved from ground to the new first floor extension which has been carefully articulated to capture 180 degree views across Port Phillip Bay. The existing house was extensively remodeled over two levels to achieve larger more open plan spaces and to capitalise on the spectacular views. An elevated deck leading from the living spaces provides the opportunity for outdoor living at first floor level. A pool and deck raised to match the internal ground floor level have been introduced to allow for free flowing indoor outdoor activities.
