Projects:
Hopkins River House
Warrnambool, 1995
This family home on the Hopkins River references a rural aesthetic in response to a unique site. Winner- Age House of the Year
Terrace 21C
North Carlton, 2010
Terrace 21C is a Victorian terrace house transformed for the 21st century. On a tiny site, this project demonstrates our ability to maximise space in a cost effective manner. Rainwater is harvested, electricity is produced and fed into the grid, hotwater is heated by the sun. Passive solar design reduces energy use. This project was open to the public on Sustainable House Day 2011.
Melbourne Savage Club
Bank Place, 2009
The client’s brief was to intoduce 21st century safety and services to this delightful heritage building, without any obvious changes! With great dexterity, CPPD incorporated a dumb waiter, rewired with a computer controlled system, provided airconditioning, replumbed the staff facilities, and brought fire services and exits up to current standards- all cleverly concealed. Skiploads of conduit, surface mounted wiring and other accretions were removed.
