Heise Architecture is very proud to be working with Lorna Jane on their refurbishment and new store roll-out throughout Australia and Europe. Working closely with their project management team, we have been able to design and document a range of stores suited to each location, taking advantage of the opportunities and existing conditions of each retail tenancy’s location.

Waterford West Sport Park

Waterford West, Logan Qld, 2014

Heise Architecture recently collaborated with Dunn and Moran Landscapes Architects to prepare a concept design for the Waterford West Sport Park, design tender submission, with our proposal being one of the four shortlisted. The brief required three rugby fields a grandstand a clubhouse, parking and additional utility spaces. The project was located in the council of Logan, Queensland Australia. The grandstand design, utilizing robust and resilient materials, compliments the master-plan which orientates the sports fields for North – South play. The building has been designed as a legible expression of the roofing element wrapping over the grandstand providing protection from the sun, wind and rain. The interior program has been designed to provide maximum amenity for the spectators and building occupants while making efficient use of the spaces below the grandstand. Our roof which wraps around the building provides an identifiable and unique aesthetic form appropriate for a Civic project, while also shielding the spectators from the cold south west winds.
