Projects undertaken by the practice range across residential alterations and additions, new homes, small multi-unit residential and mixed use projects and commercial and bar/restaurant fitouts with budgets ranging from $40K to $5M. Jason Blake Architecture have substantial experience from the Northern Beaches to Port Hacking, east in Coogee to the West. Principal Jason Blake is also a licensed builder, JBARCH Construct P/L undertakes the building of projects within the practice.

The building in which this bar & art gallery are held is a neo-gothic revivalist former church, the original home of the sydney city mission. The architectural intent of the project is to celebrate form of the existing building with a series of modest interventions. Downstairs, the Chip off the Old Block Bar is a small budget bar fitout that utilises recycled and repurposed materials creates an intimate night time space to eat & drink. Upstairs plywood shapes the space of the gallery, tone and light mediated by several shades of white. A large family home that started life as 2 apartments on a large block. Heritage concerns required the retention of the street facade. A 5 bedroom home of brick, stone and wood embraces the coastal lifestyle, integrated with the rear garden, pool and poolhouse.

Extensive remodelling of an end terrace in the Inner West of Sydney. The building maintains the end terrace form, with a series of timber apendages and interventions to create the new spaces.
