Cleveland Street Residence

Wahroonga, 2010

A large family residence which embraces its suburban setting. The project plays on a juxtaposition of built elements, the floating roof forms, heavy masonry walls and glazing are placed together to define this contemporary residence.

Warrangi Street Residence

Turramurra, 2008

This modern residence sits within a leafy suburban environment. The design recalls the pure ideal of the classical villa, its two interlocking pavilions raised upon a strong masonry base. The pavilions are characterised by their strong roof forms which appear to float above them.

Wahroonga Preparatory School

Wahroonga, 2010

The existing school building stands in stark contrast to the church and hall complex in style and detail and has undergone numerous alterations over the years becoming less significant in the group and in the process impacting the heritage significance of adjoining items. It was decided the new works must bring together the various parts of the school building into a cohesive aesthetic. This was achieved by sheathing the building in multicoloured fibre-cement panels using the stain glass windows of the church as precedent. The additional areas facilitate new classrooms, music and art room and library.
