Redfern Lynch Architects is a small practice based in Sydney’s Inner West and the NSW North Coast near Byron Bay. We specialise in new residences, alterations and additions, interior design, fit-outs and community projects. We deliver high quality, progressive and thoughtful design with personalised service and great communication. We are committed to sustainable, functional design that meets the unique needs of each client and each site. Redfern Lynch is a collaboration between Carl Redfern (Sydney) and John Lynch (North Coast). We have extensive experience across diverse projects from large-scale commercial and community developments to heritage projects and private houses.

Marsupial House
Koala Bay NSW, 2014
New residence in Koala Bay on the NSW North Coast. The wrap around decks capture the expansive views from Byron Bay around to Mt Warning with a flexible use floor plan to meet the growing needs of a young family.
Old Jelly Factory
Sydney Inner West, 2015
Currently in progress, this former industrial building in Sydney’s inner west will be transformed into a contemporary, light-filled home for a large family. The design is focused on a creative adaptation of the industrial space, retaining its character while increasing amenity and environmental performance.
Calabash Bay Interiors
Hawksbury River NSW, 2014
Calabash Bay Lodge is a boutique waterfront retreat on the beautiful Hawkesbury River north of Sydney. For this interior design project, two ensuites were re-modelled with luxury fixtures and finishes. The undercroft space was re-designed to become a lounge and entertaining area open to the water views and bush surrounds.
