Tricia Helyar is a sole practitioner based in Bellingen on the north coast of NSW. Within her practice she works closely with clients to achieve solutions within budget while adhering to the principles of environmental sustainability design. Tricia has worked in residential design for over 15 years. Since registering as an Architect in 2002 Tricia has built a practice providing architectural services in all areas of residential design. She welcomes the opportunity to work in Sydney and regional NSW.

This house was designed using the principals of passive solar design with integration of active systems to limit dependence on grid and with an emphasis on adaptable housing.

In this alteration the most is made of a semi to accommodate a family. Recycled and new elements provide a modern living space. An dimable LED lighting system designed by the CLient has been used throughout.
