Student Services Centre

Lismore, NSW, 2009

This Student Services Centre is an addition to the existing facility. It comprises office accommodation, meeting spaces, student lounge areas, information and registration desks and a self-help area. The space is a multi-purpose area and is used as a small scale entertainment venue, an intimate function space or a casual meeting area. Dynamic use of colour and fabrics gives this facility a funky, youthful feeling. Extensive use of tinted, safety glass enables the facility to be bathed in natural light for the bulk of the day thus reducing the amount of energy used in illuminating and heating the space.
