PERFORMING ARTS BUILDING
St. Agatha’s School,Clayfield,Brisbane, 2011
This project has provided contemporary learning spaces for the Arts Curriculum.Internal design flexibility is achieved by the use of long span roof beams and large operable walls that divide the Performing Arts space into 2 classroom size teaching and learning areas for Music and Drama.The building was constructed on and over an existing car park on a very small piece of land on the side of a very steep hill.This new facility was connected to the classroom and administration block with a student mall outside the existing Library and Administration.
