Lake House

Cressy, 2010

Lake House is a large Georgian property sitting on the banks of the Maquarie River near Cressy. Built in 1830, Lake House had fallen into a state of disrepair in recent years. It’s new owner wanted to restore the original house while adding two new, large living wings. During the restoration, the main house underwent significant work to bring it up to speed for 21st Century living. All new services, bathrooms and a commercial quality kitchen were seamlessly integrated into the buildings original fabric. The grounds are currently being landscaped to help return the property to its former glory.

Micra Bodyworks

Breadalbane, 2010

With a rapidly expanding business quickly outgrowing its workshop in Longford, Longford Bodyworks required a new, large iconic workshop facility to help promote their business, while improving their productivity and job turnaround. With a new, more central site in a prominent location at the Breadalbane Roundabout the design of the new facility has given their business a recognisable branding.

Bain Terrace

Trevallyn, 2010

This large family home in the Launceston suburb of Trevallyn comprised of a Federation cottage that had a 1920’s California Bungalow style addition to the front and an early 1990’s addition to the rear. Our brief was to help restore the ‘flow’ to the house, while bringing the living spaces to the front of the house to maximise the expansive views of the Tamar River and the ample sunshine. While there was minimal intervention to the outsde appearance of the property, the interior was completely reconfigured and updated with modern services, joinery & decor, while retaining the original character of the family home.
