Metaxas Architects commenced practice in 1996. Since the practices inception it has continually grown and has a considerably diverse range of projects completed and currently underway. Our goal is to provide innovative, unique and creative solutions that more than exceed our clients’ briefs and expectations. Our focus is on strategic planning and on producing quality architecture outcomes. Our approach to design is intuitive, focusing on finding innovative and responsive ways of creating spaces. The design process that results is through the rigor of continually challenging pre-existing ideas and approaches. It is through this process that we find originality and evolution within our work.

Bayshore Development
Bay, Rouse and Nott Streets, Port Melbourne, 2006
This major development includes 4 apartment buildings around a central landscaped courtyard. The buildings range in height from 6-10 storeys. Overall, there are 342 apartments. In addition there is over 2000sqm of retail along the Bay & Rouse Street frontage.

A small boutique apartment development incorporating a heritage building (converted into a restaurant) and 41 apartments over 6 levels in a beach front location
Caroline Springs Central
Caroline Springs, 2008
A mixed use retail/office development. It includes ground floor retail incorporating a supermarket and other supporting retail facilities of over 4400sqm, a 4 level office building of around 4600sqm and a gymnasium of over 3200sqm.
